Oh well in a little town called Doylestown Ohio, there was this woman in 1963 who had her baby on this bridge, after she gave birth to the baby she threw it over the bridge, she couldn't stop hearing the baby cry in her mind.. she went down to the train tracks near the bridge and stood there so the train could kill her, legend has it if you go to the bridge at 12 minight you can her the baby cry and some people say they have seen a ghost train on the tracks.

Hi. I wrote somone in Doylestown Ohio about the Bridge and here is another story behind it.....

Cry baby bridge is in Rogue's Hollow just outside of Doylestown. Rogue's Hollow was the home of many coal mines early in this century and the home of many miners who, aside from being rough people also believed in ghosts as many people do today. Cry baby bridge has the reputation of being haunted. There are many stories. The bridge is at the foot of a very steep hill. The most widely accepted story is that in the early part of the century a family was coming down the hill in a carriage and lost control. Their baby was thrown overboard and drowned under the bridge. Today at certain times (midnight on Halloween, for example) you can hear the baby crying.
