Subject: Hauntings & History I have a couple items which might interest you.
1) I have seen references to this book, but have not seen a copy of it.
Supposedely it has some Vincennes material in it. "Hoosier Hauntings" by K.
T. MacRorie, published in 1998 by Thunder Bay Press. Have you seen it?
2) I picked up an interesting item on the Ebay on-line auction site. I
attach an image that you may want to post in your miscellaneous pictures
section. It is a Menthol Inhaler manufactured by "Cushman Drug Company" of
Vincennes. The two patent dates on the inhaler are Jan. 5, '86 and Nov. 2,
'86 (1886 I assume). It came in the holder shown which also has the Cushman
name on the end. Between the perforated corks at the two ends of the glass
tube (hidden by the label in this image) it is filled with Menthol
crystals. Even now, after 113 years it still smells strongly of menthol. I
wonder what ever became of the Cushman Drug Company?
