I use my daughters computer so I don't get a chance to check my mail often.
You can put Murphy at the end if you want. I would like for someone to start going out there between one and three AM and look for my lady.
By the way, Bunker Hill IS haunted and I had a couple more creepy things happen.
One real scary for me. I was not alone I remember my grandmother and her sister Sara talking with raised voices one day and I hid close enough to listen. Sara was saying, "this place is hainted (it's the word she used) and you know it, you have seen IT too! My Grandmother told her to shut up because if they talked about it the kids would hear.
I had a scary thing happen next door at an old house. This was in addition to my lady. Something else strange happened at my Grandma's house and my sisters and Mom were there for it. I don't know how long E. mail can get. I'll tell you that one, but I won't talk about the other one until it's daylight when I have to drive home.
Now, we were all staying at my Grandma's house, myself, my Mom and my two sister's and baby brother. In the middle of the night we were all awakened by a terrible screaming. Like someone getting their head cut off. I have heard it after that and that sound was made by a wildcat.
Anyway, we were all up yelling what is it, what is it. My mom and Grandma told us to stay in the bedroom and they went into the living room. We were told to leave the lights off and they had a flashlight. Whatever it was it was climbing right up the side of the house. We could hear the old siding being ripped up along with this thing screaming like a Banshee. I got brave enough to look out the window and saw that my Grandma's dog was cowering in his house. The front porch light was the only one on and I could see his area from it. This went on for about 5 minutes then got quiet. Then we were all told to go back to bed. We protested because we were so scared.
My Grandma then told us not to worry because it was only that ol woods cat making the noise. She said it came every year at the same time and had it's kittens in her attic. Well, I thought this was mighty strange. Why would a woods cat come to a populated area to have her kittens, and most of all why make such a horrible noise. Seemed to me she could have just climbed up quietly.
The next day we were told to forget it. I couldn't wait for daylight so I could go out and look. That's just what I did too! The siding was the old stuff made to look like brick and it had some kind of black softlike stuff as a base. I'll swear on a stack of bible's this is what it looked like. It was tore all to Hell and had great big long claw marks all the way to the top. I wanted my uncle to come down and get it out so I could see it. They just said leave her alone and finally said "she's gone".
I never saw anyone get it out and I never heard it climb down. We stayed there all summer as mom had sold our house after my dad died and she had to find another bigger one, then it had to be fixed up for us. now you have another one and it's true too!
