Hi, im a 16 year old male from North Canton, Ohio. Last night me and 4 of my friends went to the so called "Cry Baby Bridge." We got directions from one of my friends mom, it was very hard to find. My mom used to tell my lots of stories of how she went there when she was in high school. My mom said that lots of people try to mess with you when you go there, so my friends and i brought bats and stuff just in case.
Well anyway, we left at 10:40 and got there at 11:20, after gettin lost a few times. We were not completely sure that it was the right bridge, but we figured it was because it was the biggest bridge we drove over, and there were railroad tracks about 50 yards away.
We had 40 minutes to kill, so we walked down this very long trail along one side of the river that the bridge crosses. We walked for about 10 minutes, and then, at the same time, me and one of my friends heard a lady singing. It was weird cuz we both heard it at the same time, and the same noise. My other friends didnt hear it, but i KNOW that i heard it. I thought that it was just kids messing with us, but i didnt hear anything else the rest of the time like that. We kept walking, and decided to turn around because it was gettin close to 12.
On the way back, 2 of my friends heard another noise, this time they said they heard a lady yelling nooooo. I didnt hear it, just my two friends. At 12 we stood on the bridge, but we didnt hear a baby crying. We did hear a loud noise, that could have been a train, though. There was lots of fog all around, and a full moon, it was really weird.
The bridge itself was covered with grafiti, but nothing scary. There was stuff like Dan loves Kristen, and swastikas, and dumb stuff like that. Me and my friends are probably going to go back to the bridge sometime soon. Oh ya, i forgot to say that one of my friends video taped us there, just in case we saw something, we didnt, but oh well, it was still pretty scary and fun.
PS-this is the bridge in Rogues Hollow, just outside of Doylestown, like the story says on this site.
