Subject: Old Vincennes Hello,
I am interested in the hx of Old Vincennes as it pertains to the French.
My ancestors came to Knox County from Montreal, Quebec. My father was a
Theriac, Teriack, Tiriac/ Theriaque and my paternal grandmother was a
Mallett. I found you web page interesting! One of my ancestors was
married in the Old Cathedral way back in the 1700s! Michel Tiriac wed
Therese Andre on 7 Jan 1796 so we go back at least that far. So, any info
you might have on the Theriac's or Mallett's or French settlers in general
would be appreciated!
